ST. CLAIRSVILLE — The owner of a new CBD store that opened this week hopes the products he sells will help ease customers’ ailments.
The High End CBD Shop held its grand opening Wednesday at 165 E. Main St. in St. Clairsville. Store owner Brian Phillips said he carries a bit of everything when it comes to CBD products, including gummies, oils, lotions and pain sticks, as well as others. gift items, apparel and more.
Phillips said her main goal is to help people struggling with pain or mental health issues. These people can benefit from taking CBD, he said.
“We love helping patients – patients who are in pain, patients who are suffering from anxiety, depression, etc. All of these things can be helped with CBD. These are things that I have myself, and I have a passion for trying to help people deal with these things,” he said.
Additionally, he said he hoped to help reduce the drug problem in the region by providing an alternative to illegal substances.
Phillips’ top priority is to help guide people to what’s best for their health, offering her expertise to anyone who needs help.
“If anyone has questions, concerns about CBD that they need answered and are looking for someone to ask, someone they can trust, they can come ask us. They don’t have anything to buy, I don’t care if they buy anything. If they need help, don’t hesitate to come and talk to us. he said.
“My main focus is people. I’m sick of seeing the same thing with all the CBD stores – in front they’re for the patient, and in the back they don’t care. It’s not us. This is what will differentiate us. »
The deciding factor in opening his business in St. Clairsville came after the response he received from city leaders. Phillips said he was warmly received by many officials.
“I had searched for several months trying to find a location and found this location about 3 months ago. I spoke to the planner, and they welcomed me to the city with open arms and were ready to go. This, for me, was extremely important. The mayor, the town planner, all were extremely helpful”, he said.
Once the business is set up, Phillips said he plans to give back to the community that took him in.
“I plan to do some benefit and fundraising for people with cancer and other illnesses,” he added.
The shop is also proud to sell locally owned Tho Bros Premium CBD. Phillips said they offer high-quality products at a lower cost. He said he was able to sell some products at half the cost as competitors, but the quality of the products remained excellent.
The High End CBD Shop is now open 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Saturday. It is located next to Papa D’s Pizza. Phillips said he was working to hire another employee so he could extend the hours to include Sundays.
